About the Role
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Head of Marketing will translate the overall brand and marketing strategy into clear, commercially focused plans and ensure their effective delivery across the portfolio.
This is a hands-on, senior leadership role for an experienced marketing professional who combines strong brand understanding with excellent commercial judgement, organisation and execution. You will lead the central marketing team and work closely with the CEO, Executive Leadership Team, Commercial, Revenue, Sales and Operations to ensure marketing activity supports wider business objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day marketing function and translate strategy into effective annual plans, campaigns and priorities.
- Oversee integrated marketing activity across digital, social, CRM, content, PR, partnerships, performance marketing and communications.
- Ensure consistent and compelling brand execution across multiple properties and markets.
- Work closely with commercial and revenue teams to maximise customer acquisition, engagement and retention.
- Monitor campaign performance, KPIs and return on marketing investment.
- Lead, develop and motivate the central marketing team, creating a culture of accountability and high-quality execution.
- Manage marketing budgets, agencies and external partners.
- Lead marketing activity for new openings, rebrands, repositioning and major property initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, technology, channels and overall marketing effectiveness.
- Provide the CEO and senior leadership team with clear reporting, insight and recommendations.
The ideal candidate
You will be an established senior marketing leader with experience at Head of Marketing, Marketing Director, Brand Director or equivalent level. You will have a strong track record of leading teams and delivering integrated marketing strategies within a hospitality, lifestyle, travel, leisure, retail or other customer-led environment.
You should bring:
- Significant senior marketing leadership experience.
- Strong brand, campaign and integrated marketing expertise.
- Proven experience managing and developing marketing teams.
- Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of customer acquisition, revenue and ROI.
- Experience working directly with CEOs and senior leadership teams.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills.
- Experience managing budgets, agencies and external partners.
- Experience within a multi-site, multi-brand or international business would be highly advantageous.
- Experience of new openings, rebrands, repositioning or major brand projects would be beneficial.
