General Manager - Brussels

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the reopening and repositioning of a landmark lifestyle hotel in Brussels, reopening in Summer 2027 following a major refurbishment.

This is a high-profile leadership role for a visible, entrepreneurial and commercially minded hotelier who can take ownership of the property through pre-opening, launch and into successful operations.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the hotel through its conversion, pre-opening and launch
• Build and lead a high-performing team and establish the hotel's culture
• Oversee the hotel's operational and commercial strategy
• Drive strong financial performance and deliver agreed P&L and owner return targets
• Work closely with ownership, asset management and brand partners
• Establish the hotel’s positioning within the Brussels market
• Champion the guest experience and ensure consistently high brand standards
• Develop strong relationships with key corporate, MICE, leisure and industry partners

The ideal candidate will have:

• Significant senior hotel leadership experience, including General Manager experience
• A strong track record within upscale or lifestyle hotels
• Proven experience in hotel openings, conversions or repositioning
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, with full P&L responsibility
• Experience working with sophisticated owners and/or asset managers
• Previous experience in Brussels or the Benelux market is advantageous
• Experience with IHG or another international hotel brand is preferred
• Strong leadership presence and an entrepreneurial, hands-on approach
• Fluency in English and ideally French or Flemish
• EU working rights
