Are you an experienced M&A or Transactions professional looking for an opportunity where you can take real ownership of complex, high-value deals?
Our client is a leading hospitality investment and management business seeking a Senior Transactions Manager to join its team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a high-impact role offering the opportunity to work across the full transaction lifecycle, covering hotel acquisitions, disposals, financing and refinancing.
You’ll be at the heart of live transactions, working closely with senior management, investors and a broad range of internal and external stakeholders. From shaping due diligence strategies and negotiating deal points to managing advisers and driving transactions through to completion, you’ll have the autonomy and responsibility to make a tangible impact.
Contract: 6-month fixed-term contract
Working Pattern: Monday–Friday, office-based
The Opportunity
This is a varied and commercially focused position that will see you working across multiple transaction workstreams and engaging with senior stakeholders throughout the business.
You will:
- Lead acquisitions from initial review and due diligence through to negotiation, approvals, signing and completion.
- Develop and manage detailed transaction programmes, ensuring key milestones and workstreams remain on track.
- Coordinate financial, tax, technology and legal due diligence, working closely with internal teams and external advisers.
- Review due diligence findings, identify risks and opportunities, and support senior management and investors in determining appropriate actions.
- Drive hotel disposals, coordinating brokers, advisers, data rooms, vendor due diligence and negotiations with prospective buyers.
- Work alongside legal counsel on SPA preparation and negotiations through to completion.
- Prepare deal returns, sources & uses and fund flow analysis.
- Manage financing and refinancing transactions, assessing financing requirements, debt serviceability and covenant considerations.
- Engage with existing and prospective lenders, debt brokers and advisers, reviewing and negotiating Heads of Terms and key financing terms.
- Coordinate financing documentation, hedging considerations and approvals through to draw-down and completion.
- Provide clear, regular updates to senior management on live transactions and key deal developments.
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for a commercially astute transactions professional who is confident operating in a fast-paced, deal-focused environment and can quickly take ownership of complex workstreams.
You’ll ideally have:
- Proven experience in M&A, transactions, real estate investment or hospitality investment.
- Experience across acquisitions, disposals and/or financing transactions.
- Strong financial and commercial analysis skills.
- A solid understanding of due diligence, transaction structuring and deal execution.
- Experience managing relationships with investors, lenders, brokers, legal advisers and other transaction counterparties.
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to keep multiple workstreams moving towards tight deadlines.
- Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- The confidence to work autonomously and make an immediate contribution.
- Exceptional attention to detail combined with a pragmatic, commercially focused approach.
