About the Role

We are seeking an inspirational and commercially driven General Manager to lead the continued success of this flagship destination, driving operational excellence, guest satisfaction, colleague engagement and financial performance.

The Opportunity

As General Manager, you will act as the strategic business leader of the resort, partnering closely with the Executive Committee and Department Heads to execute operational strategy, elevate guest experiences and ensure alignment with the our client’s brand vision.

This is a highly visible leadership role for an executive with a passion for luxury hospitality, a proven ability to lead complex resort operations and the commercial acumen to maximise performance in a world-class environment.

Key Responsibilities

You will:

  • Provide strategic leadership across all areas of resort operations, ensuring alignment with brand standards and long-term business objectives.
  • Lead, inspire and develop a high-performing Executive Committee and leadership team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability and exceptional service.
  • Drive guest satisfaction by championing an elevated luxury service culture and ensuring flawless delivery of the guest experience. Deliver strong commercial and financial performance, reviewing budgets, profitability and operational efficiencies to optimise results.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing and Revenue teams to grow market share, maximise revenue opportunities and strengthen resort positioning.
  • Champion innovation, operational improvements and brand initiatives to ensure continued evolution of the guest experience.
  • Create an engaging, high-performance workplace culture focused on colleague wellbeing, development and retention.
  • Ensure the resort consistently exceeds guest expectations while delivering a strong return for ownership and management.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • Significant leadership experience as a General Manager, Resort Manager or senior executive within a Forbes Five-Star or equivalent luxury resort environment.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex, high-end leisure resort operations.
  • Strong commercial instinct with a proven track record of driving profitability and operational performance.
  • Deep expertise across rooms, guest experience, food & beverage and luxury resort operations.
  • Exceptional leadership capability with the ability to inspire, coach and elevate diverse teams.
  • Experience collaborating with Revenue, Sales and Marketing teams to optimise business performance.
  • Fluency in Spanish is essential.
  • A genuine passion for luxury hospitality and creating extraordinary guest experiences.
