About the Role

This high-profile leadership role offers the chance to shape the future of a centrally located upscale property undergoing a significant transformation and repositioning into an internationally recognised lifestyle hospitality brand, with reopening planned in 2027.

We are seeking a dynamic hospitality leader who combines strong commercial acumen with hands-on operational excellence and proven experience in hotel conversions, rebranding or pre-opening environments.

The Opportunity

This is a rare chance to lead both the pre-opening transformation phase and the post-launch operational success of an ambitious hotel project.

Working closely with ownership and asset management stakeholders, the successful candidate will oversee the hotel’s repositioning journey — from refurbishment, systems implementation and brand integration through to opening execution and long-term commercial performance.

You will play a pivotal role in creating a compelling guest experience, establishing a strong market position, and building a high-performing culture within the hotel.

This role would suit an experienced Hotel Manager/Deputy GM ready to step up or a GM in their first/second mandate.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Opening & Conversion

  • Lead the hotel through a major repositioning and brand integration programme
  • Oversee refurbishment progress, operational readiness and implementation of key hotel systems
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a seamless launch
  • Help shape the hotel’s positioning, guest experience and commercial strategy
  • Support the repositioning of food & beverage concepts to enhance guest appeal and revenue performance
  • Recruit, develop and prepare the opening team for launch

Operational Leadership

  • Take full ownership of hotel performance, including P&L, GOP and EBITDA delivery
  • Drive commercial performance across rooms, F&B and ancillary revenues
  • Deliver exceptional guest experience and uphold international brand standards
  • Build strong local and international business relationships across corporate, leisure and MICE segments
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing team culture with a strong focus on engagement and development
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant operational, employment and regulatory standards

About You

We are looking for an established hotel leader with:

  • 8–10+ years of senior hospitality leadership experience
  • Previous experience as a General Manager, Hotel Manager or Resident Manager within an upscale or luxury full-service hotel
  • Demonstrable success leading a hotel conversion, rebranding or pre-opening project
  • Strong commercial understanding including budgeting, forecasting, revenue performance and owner reporting
  • Experience working with international hotel brands or franchise environments
  • Proven leadership capabilities with the ability to engage teams and stakeholders alike
  • Prior experience in France or European hospitality markets is highly desirable
  • Fluent French and English are essential. Additional European languages are advantageous.
  • Candidates must also be eligible to wotk in the EU as sponsorship is not provided.

Why Apply?

This is an opportunity to lead a high-visibility hospitality transformation in one of Europe’s most sought-after destinations. The successful candidate will have the platform to leave a lasting legacy, combining entrepreneurial thinking with international brand excellence to create a standout hotel experience.
