General Manager – Florence, Italy

We are exclusively recruiting for an experienced General Manager to lead a beautifully restored five-star lifestyle hotel in the heart of Florence, Italy.

This is an outstanding opportunity to take the helm of a luxury property that combines heritage, contemporary design and exceptional guest experiences in one of Europe's most celebrated destinations. Reporting to senior regional leadership, you will have full operational and commercial responsibility for the hotel, leading a talented team while driving financial performance, guest satisfaction and long-term business success.

The Role

As General Manager, you will:

• Lead all aspects of the hotel's operations, ensuring exceptional service delivery and guest satisfaction.
• Drive commercial performance through revenue optimisation, sales and marketing initiatives, and effective cost management.
• Develop, coach and inspire a high-performing leadership team, creating a culture of engagement, accountability and excellence.
• Deliver the annual business plan and budget while identifying opportunities to grow market share.
• Ensure the hotel consistently operates to the highest brand standards and compliance requirements.
• Build strong relationships with ownership, regional leadership and key commercial partners.

About You

We are seeking an accomplished hotel leader who brings:

• At least three years' experience as a Hotel Manager or General Manager within an upscale or luxury branded hotel.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience across operations, finance, sales, revenue management and food & beverage.
• Proven success leading high-performing teams and delivering outstanding financial results.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A hands-on leadership style with the ability to motivate, coach and inspire others.
• Fluency in both English and Italian.
• Strong knowledge of the Italian hospitality market.
• Candidates must be eligible to work in the EU as sponsorship is not provided.

Previous experience working in Florence and experience with an international hotel brand would be advantageous.
