This is not a traditional hotel business.

Our client creates spaces that blend design, culture, community and hospitality to deliver experiences that feel distinctive, memorable and relevant to modern travellers. With a growing international portfolio across Europe's most exciting cities, they are entering a new phase of growth and transformation.

As Global Director of Sales, you will play a pivotal role in driving commercial success across multiple international markets. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales & Reservations, you will lead a team of Regional Directors of Sales and Directors of Sales, developing and executing a global sales strategy that delivers sustained revenue growth, market share expansion and exceptional commercial performance.

The Opportunity

You will be responsible for developing and delivering a global B2B sales strategy that aligns with ambitious growth objectives while ensuring regional teams are empowered to maximise opportunities within their markets.

Working closely with senior stakeholders across Commercial, Revenue Management, Marketing, Key Accounts and Groups teams, you will drive performance through strong leadership, strategic partnerships and a relentless focus on results.

This role will be based at their London HQ with occasional travel required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a global sales strategy that supports revenue growth and commercial objectives
  • Lead, coach and inspire a high-performing international sales team
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key corporate clients, agencies and strategic intermediaries
  • Drive corporate pipeline development, forecasting accuracy and business visibility
  • Negotiate and secure high-value commercial agreements across the portfolio
  • Ensure regional sales plans align with wider business objectives while remaining responsive to local market dynamics
  • Identify emerging market trends, customer needs and competitive opportunities
  • Champion best practice in sales processes, account management and CRM disciplines
  • Deliver insightful commercial reporting and strategic recommendations to senior leadership

About You

You are a commercially driven sales leader with a proven track record of delivering significant revenue growth across international hospitality markets.

You thrive in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments and are equally comfortable developing strategy, leading teams and building relationships at executive level.

Experience & Expertise

  • 8+ years' progressive sales leadership experience within hospitality
  • Significant experience leading multi-property, multi-market sales functions
  • Strong background within lifestyle hotels, aparthotels or experience-led hospitality brands
  • Proven success exceeding revenue targets and driving commercial performance
  • Experience managing senior sales leaders and geographically dispersed teams
  • Deep understanding of the global corporate travel landscape and hospitality distribution channels
  • Established network of corporate buyers, travel management companies, agencies and industry partners
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills and stakeholder management capability
  • Advanced knowledge of CRM platforms, RFP systems and commercial reporting tools
  • Candidates should be eligible to work in the UK as sponsorship will not be provided
