About the Role
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Vice President of Sales & Reservations, you will be responsible for developing and executing the Corporate & MICE sales strategy across the UK & Ireland.
Working with corporate travel buyers, travel management companies, agencies, procurement teams and event planners, you'll drive revenue growth through strategic account management, business development and high-impact partnerships.
You'll collaborate closely with Revenue Management, Marketing, Operations and Regional Sales teams to ensure a unified commercial approach while identifying new opportunities to expand market share and strengthen brand presence.
This role is based on-site 5 days a week at one their UK properties, with regular travel across the UK & Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver a proactive Corporate & MICE sales strategy across the UK & Ireland
- Build and manage strategic relationships with corporate clients, agencies, TMCs and event organisers
- Negotiate preferred partnership agreements, commercial contracts and rate programmes
- Drive revenue growth through targeted account development and new business acquisition
- Create regional growth plans informed by market intelligence, customer insights and demand trends
- Lead contract renewals, business reviews and joint commercial planning with key partners
- Identify and secure new opportunities across corporate travel and meetings & events sectors
- Analyse performance data and deliver actionable recommendations to maximise ROI
- Maintain accurate sales pipelines, account plans and forecasting through CRM systems
- Represent the business at key industry events, networking forums and trade shows throughout the UK & Ireland
About You
You're a commercially astute hospitality professional with a strong network across the corporate travel and MICE sectors.
You know how to build trusted partnerships, influence senior stakeholders and deliver measurable revenue growth. Strategic in your thinking yet hands-on in execution, you're motivated by creating long-term value and driving commercial success.
Experience & Expertise
- Significant experience managing Corporate and MICE partnerships within hospitality, aparthotels or travel-related sectors
- Minimum 5 years' experience in hotel or hospitality sales across the UK & Ireland
- Proven responsibility for annual revenues exceeding £5 million
- Strong track record of driving growth through corporate account management, business development and MICE sales activity
- Deep understanding of corporate travel procurement, meetings and events booking processes and hospitality distribution channels
- Experience managing regional and national account portfolios with demonstrable commercial success
- Established network of corporate travel buyers, event agencies, TMCs and industry stakeholders
- Strong commercial negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced knowledge of CRM platforms, reporting tools and sales analytics
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers at all levels
