Director of Food & Beverage

An exceptional opportunity for an accomplished Director of Food & Beverage to join a world-class ultra-luxury resort in the Turks & Caicos Islands.

This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for shaping and delivering an outstanding Food & Beverage experience across a collection of distinctive restaurants and bars. The successful candidate will combine a refined understanding of luxury hospitality with strong commercial acumen, creativity and an instinctive ability to create memorable, highly personalised guest experiences.

The Role

Reporting into the resort leadership team, the Director of Food & Beverage will oversee the full Food & Beverage operation, ensuring every outlet has a clear identity and delivers a consistent experience while remaining authentic to its setting and overall brand standards.

Working closely with the Executive Chef and wider leadership team, you will ensure that menus, presentation, ambience, music, service and guest interaction come together seamlessly.

You will be a highly visible presence throughout the resort, engaging with guests and colleagues and continuously looking for opportunities to enhance the overall experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all Food & Beverage operations, maintaining exceptional standards of quality, service and guest care.
• Develop and continually refine the identity, concept and guest journey for each restaurant and bar.
• Work closely with the culinary team to create cohesive and distinctive dining experiences.
• Embed luxury service standards and ensure consistently high-quality execution across all outlets.
• Recruit, lead, coach and retain a high-performing, multicultural Food & Beverage team.
• Build an inclusive culture based on respect, accountability, communication and collaboration.
• Develop effective training, recognition and succession-planning programmes.
• Manage the unique operational challenges of a luxury island resort, including seasonality, logistics, product availability and workforce planning.
• Develop strong relationships with local and international suppliers.
• Take full responsibility for departmental budgets, labour planning, purchasing, inventory, cost control and revenue performance.
• Monitor guest feedback, quality audits and financial results, implementing improvements where required.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, hygiene, licensing and company standards.

The Ideal Candidate

You will be an experienced and accomplished Food & Beverage leader with a background in ultra-luxury hotels, resorts or internationally recognised hospitality environments.

You will bring:

• Significant senior-level Food & Beverage leadership experience within luxury hospitality.
• A proven ability to develop and position distinctive restaurant and bar concepts.
• Strong knowledge of luxury service and recognised quality standards, including LQA.
• Experience managing large, multicultural teams, ideally within a resort, remote or island environment.
• A sophisticated eye for detail, presentation, design and atmosphere.
• Strong commercial and financial capability, including budgeting, forecasting and cost control.
• A highly visible, hands-on leadership style with the ability to inspire and develop others.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and strong cultural awareness.
• A genuine passion for gastronomy, luxury hospitality, people development and creating memorable guest experiences.
