The Opportunity
This senior leadership role is responsible for driving total hotel profitability through intelligent pricing, forecasting and revenue optimisation across Rooms, Meetings & Events and wider commercial operations.
Working closely with senior stakeholders across Sales, Operations, Finance and Commercial teams, you'll develop innovative revenue strategies that maximise performance while identifying new opportunities for growth.
This is a highly visible role where your commercial insight will directly influence business success.
Key Responsibilities
As Director of Revenue Strategy, you will:
- Develop and execute short, medium and long-term revenue strategies that maximise profitability.
- Lead pricing, forecasting, inventory management and demand optimisation across all revenue streams.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activity and business intelligence to identify commercial opportunities.
- Drive distribution strategy and ensure optimal channel performance.
- Lead weekly commercial and revenue meetings, providing clear recommendations based on booking pace and market conditions.
- Develop strategic pricing models for Meetings & Events, ensuring maximum total hotel revenue.
- Partner closely with Sales, Food & Beverage, Operations and Finance to deliver aligned commercial strategies.
- Coach, mentor and support hotel leadership teams to embed best practice in revenue management.
- Champion innovation through the implementation of new systems, tools and commercial initiatives.
About You
You'll be a commercially minded leader with a passion for driving performance through strategic thinking and data-led decision making.
We're looking for someone who brings:
- Significant experience in hotel Revenue Management within a branded hospitality environment.
- A strong understanding of pricing strategy, forecasting, demand management and commercial performance.
- Proven experience influencing senior stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable commercial strategies.
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
- A proactive, collaborative leadership style with a passion for developing others.
- Must be eligible to work in Spain as sponsorship will not be provided.
Experience managing conference and events revenue strategy would be highly advantageous.
